Loews Hotel, Millenium Ballroom, Philadelphia

This one is a little tricky. The Millenium Ballroom at the Loews Hotel in Philadelphia used to be an old  bank. This becomes more obvious with the gigantic vault door on display in the middle of the ballroom. The best way to do ANY kind of multiple screen rear projection is to shoot around it. There’s no usable rigpoints in the ceiling to hang any kind of truss system. So either your shooting from the floor, leaving room for about 1 row of chairs, or shoot from behind.

The other tricky part is that this ballroom lets LOTS of ambient light in. Bring a couple extra thousand lumens with you if you plan on having any projection during the day.
